The Studio West End is located on the first floor of an old factory building which now houses ABSOE, a business selling office furniture, shop fittings and industrial shelving. Freelance journalist Gerry O’Connor once described it as having a Renaissance atmosphere, “a place where a great deal of hard work and very little navel gazing takes place … where artworks are ‘made’.” (O’Connor, Gerry (2000).
